FIBER BIN

This page is a catch-all, miscellaneous, whatever-doesn't-fit-elsewhere category, sort of like a fiber bin that collects "stuff." We'll try to organize its contents, but sorting is not an exact science, so peruse it to see if you can find something useful. (send suggestions for additions to these lists)

  • The Old Oaks Ranch — We carry yarns and fiber on cones, skeins and balls; fabric by the yard and fat quarters, as well as books, magazines, supplies and kits for knitting, weaving, quilting, crocheting and more. We have a variety of looms and spinning wheels to learn on or for purchase. Browse our reference library. Our working alpaca ranch provides a friendly environment for learning and gathering, indoors and out.
Current classes include hat felting, nuno felting, weaving, wearable art design, knitting, art quilting, crocheting, dyeing and rug hooking. Courses in spinning, and other fiber arts will be added soon.
